Christmas Hat for MCG wins Robert Horne Shout Awards
Sometimes an idea is so simple it's brilliant.
MCG PR's Christmas card last year celebrated the company's move to a new London office and acknowledged its charity donation to Shelter. Inspired by Shelter's rooftop-shaped logo we created a classic Christmas party hat. The idea came to us in a flash and the client loved it, so we are particularly pleased that the project has won the Robert Horne Shout Award for best invitation, greeting card & postcard.
The Robert Horne Shout Awards recognise innovation, excellence and creativity in design and print on materials from the company's range of papers, card and other materials. A panel of designers, printers and paper experts select winning entries based on the quality of design, print, finishing and choice of materials.
The brightly coloured paper hats were printed in silver and incorporated MCG's shiny, multi-coloured logo stickers, which the team affixed to give each card a personal touch.
