Skillfast-UK

Design of the five-year skills strategy document conveying key messages to MPs, education institutions and other key stakeholders.

Utilising finishes, different paper stocks and the corporate colours, we developed a striking and crafted document. A looping typeface was foiled onto the cover, mirroring embroidery, and each section started with a sheet of tracing paper overlaying the text below. This formed a weave-like pattern that referenced the document's content.

We enlisted the help of a traditional book maker to sew the individual loose pages into the cover with thread. This added to the overall solidity of the piece and echoed the client's message of skill and quality.
